#NewMusicMonday

Hi guys,

As I promised ya’ll, I have a new piece I just cooked up. I have yet to record it, but just jotting thoughts and ideas down was a huge step for me. And one I have been looking forward to sharing with ya’ll. Though not huge, it definitely helped to get my creative juices flowing again. This particular piece is a message for those heads are always above the clouds, but their feet always grounded. Life can be full of distractions when one isn’t focused on their goals and ambitions. And life is short one could potentially get carried away and before they know it, the void that they try to fill with trivial things is still very much there. For me at least this was my case, I can’t speak for everybody. Music for me truly helps to fill some of that void. This is for those who live everyday fighting for their dreams, keeping that fire alive and believing in themselves to make it happen.

♪ sittin’ here, watchin’ the sun go down
went through your phone, saw shit I shouldn’t have found
listen, I know it’s all a game and
I ain’t about to lose
I’m only getting started
we both know I ain’t no fool

tell me what I want to hear
got any hope, any dreams, your fears
none of that crap that don’t mean a thing
like that superficial shit that only end in a fling

look can’t let nobody fuck with my ways
for me, there’s so much to lose so much in stake
I know I ain’t no accident
I was born with a purpose
something the anxiety over take me
then I just gotta wake up & focus

this music thing suppose to be a reminder
I was born for something great
I don’t listen to the doubt
never paid attention to the hate

I pay respect to the legends— the cream of the crop
gotta stay winning, gotta make it to the top
wherever I go, I leave my mark
bout to show them the light.. gotta free ’em from the dark

Music frees me, & that’s all I know.
Thanks for reading ya’ll.

Photography Update ~

My friends and I visited Santa Barbara not too long ago, and what other way to save these memories as keepsakes in the form of photos?

We spontaneously decided to drive out to Santa Barbara 11pm at night (I know, I am starting to realize I live for moments like this). We arrived within 1-1.5 hours (LA in all its beauty without the traffic), which mind you is about 100 miles out of LA.

When we arrived we got something to eat, explored what we can of SB late at night, and knocked out in the car. A couple hours later and we woke up just before the sun rise.

Life’s too short to miss out on these moments.
