So excited to announce my new site as an upcoming music artist/ vocalist. I am currently working on new projects, writing new material, developing my craft/ sound/ presentation while planning collaborations with some amazing artists in the near future. I have been graced with amazing guidance so far that I am only excited for the future. This is a perfect time for me to experiment with my sound and create the projects I have always been anticipating and dying to create. You will most definitely find new updates on my site very soon, as well as more content on my music instagram as well.
As you may already be aware, The Lion King has made headlines and has garnered great attention nationwide. As a blogger, I feel an inclination to address this hype not only because I have seen the news all over my feed these past weeks, but mostly because I feel as though I am seeing a merge of the mainstream pop culture and old time Disney. Sometimes I forget it is 2019, approaching 2020, so times are changing. When I was younger, celebrity icons and Disney were totally two separate entities, but now we see how celebrities are using their fame as a platform to further promote big brands such as Disney to bring its brand to new heights, or as I see it “revive” itself. Not to mention incorporating the representation of black culture, which I am all in for (don’t get me wrong). However, it’s hard to predict whether The Lion King would have had the same outcome if it were not for Beyonce, or whether Little Mermaid would have the same outcome if it were not for Halle Bailey. This piques my interest only because I hope this same social/ racial issue would also be addressed towards other cultures who are getting overshadowed in the mix in the notion of “black vs. white” (i.e. the asian community, etc.). While I am excited for this new movement of the century, I also anticipate it will pave the way for other cultures as well.
With all that said, the making of the video/ movie (& wardrobe) is absolutely stunning.

As someone growing up in today’s auto-tuned music, I miss the genuine wholesome vibes of old-school music. 80’s music back then was on a whole other level. This is the type of music I wish we can bring back today, but unfortunately many might see that it is not suited for today’s type of music. Music has changed so much, it makes me miss a time I wasn’t even born in. Here’s to bringing the good ol’ funk back.

Woke to yet another music video that did not leave me disappointed.
PJ Morton is back and he’s better. Just another remind that great music doesn’t die.
Ready by PJ Morton. Love the soul and blues feel to the song, only makes me and many others excited for his future projects yet to come.
Ah, my first voice over release on the radio Go Country 105FM for this week 7/15/19-7/21/19! About Scotty McCreery’s performance at the NOVO in Los Angeles!
So exciting to record, so much ahead of me I want to learn, develop, and accomplish thanks to Fred the KKGO Production Director/ Operations Manager– who has given me a word of praise and encouragement! I’d like to thank him for teaching me what I know now.

The Walls Group is a singing group who, to my knowledge, have been in the game for a while (almost a decade) and I have mad respect for their hustle, grind, and gift. Ya’ll know how much I love soul music, and lately I’ve getting into gospel music. I love the idea of singing/ serving God through music and being able to touch others or get through to others through the gift of singing. In their interview with Terrell in his show Song Association On The Blue Wall, he asks the group “How do you know if God is real?” and his response that “Just the fact you have breathe in your lungs, that’s God; God is life” really struck a chord for me. As a little girl, I remember I always being fond of church choir that their new found presence within the music industry feels almost like nostalgia for me. The Walls Group, take a moment to check em out if you can and let me know what ya’ll thoughts are.
I know it’s been a minute since I’ve posted for ya’ll and I apologize.. Things have been kinda crazy with my move in LA and I am only have the chance to settle into my place to get situated. For those who may not know from my previous posts, there’s quite a massive shift happening in personal and work life at the moment. My parents will be moving to Georgia in less than two weeks, and I have made the decision to stay in LA for numerous reasons. The first, to learn how to be independent both mentally and financially and second, to broaden/explore my opportunities within the music industry. I am so super passionate about music that it’s really hard for me make decisions only because I truly believe that my future belongs within the realm of music. I’ve made a fair share of sacrifices to keep me grounded in my passion and pursuit for music that at this point, I can’t afford to back down only because I have invested so much time and energy and money on my dream. I have plenty of ideas and plans that I am so eager to tackle here in LA, that I feel as though my opportunities are endless. While Summer 2019 is in full fledge, I also feel that this moment is the beginning of something so new and real to me that I can’t wait to see it manifest in the upcoming future. Can’t wait to share them with ya’ll. Thank for your time ya’ll.
Visited the other studios at work today with the assistance and guidance of our kind and welcoming radio station staff. Absolutely amazing how the behind the scenes work. This is one of the three studios our hosts air radio music, talk shows, etc. for multiple radio stations including: kMozart 105.1 HD2, KJazz 88.1FM, and GoCountry 105. Tune in while ya’ll can!
First of all, can we talk about how phenomenal they are!
Regardless of their own level of skill, I think their relationship speaks multitudes; the mentor & the apprentice. Even though, some could agree that Nicole tore her father to shreds, I think it’s absolutely endearing how her father truly lets her shine and do her thing. The generational difference is so beautiful to see imo. The old school classic beatbox vs. the modern day beatbox. It’s so beautiful to see them doing their thang side by side- a challenge but their talents compliment each other very well. Definitely something to see.
I’m so excited to announce that I just got hired as a music teacher for a company whose prime mission is to promote music education for the youth through birthday parties and regular music classes. The company is called Music Moves In Me and is located here in Los Angeles, California. As a “Birthday Party Enthusiast”, as the position is named, I will be working with the small ones by helping host birthday parties while also engaging the children with musical instruments and getting them to engage their bodies and their senses to music activities that the team and I will be planning and strategizing— hence the name “Music Movies In Me”. As part of my responsibilities, I have the privilege of helping to create content and further build the companies’ social media platforms– which is the main primary focus of my job position. I hope that as I grow with the company, I will strengthen our online presence by presenting potential clients with videos and pictures of moments created here in Music Moves In Me. I’m super stoked for what the company has in store for both me and my team members along with the talents and skills I can offer to the company to help MMIM grow. Most importantly, I am excited to create new bonds with my wonderful & talented boss, Calia, along with my team mates. While the physical activities and lesson plans are vital to making the mission of Moves In Me possible, marketing and promotion is equally just as important to making the company reach its fullest potential. Again, there is so much to learn and so much to accomplish, I am looking forward to the next couples months of training and the school year to help continue the mission of educating and keeping good music around. Stick around for updates, coming soon!
Feel free to check out my bio down below or on the MMIM site here ! && as well as sign up for potential classes for your little ones if you’re within the SoCal area!
Barely got put on with this guy. Let me say this guy is fire and hella underrated. I rarely post about rap, but this guy is straight Fuego. hardest asian rapper in the game right now. Was just talking about a lack of asian representation in my other post, and this guy was heaven sent forreals. Ya’ll know I don’t appreciate that fake unoriginal music, and this guy aint it. He got a little backstory too, growing up Cambodian from East Long Beach. Humble, down to earth dude who’s been through it. Watch his freestyles if ya’ll don’t believe me. He come straight off the dome. Nothin’ but mad respect for this guy.
